Awesome oblivionis! I love it! I love the fact that the 20 pound savings allowed you to run better trap despite MUCH higher DA AND headwind!!!

There are some guys that say that every pound of rotational mass is like 6x regular weight. So, effectively, you removed 120 pounds of weight!

I can't wait until I can run my IS-F with VOLKS!!! It's 45 pounds lighter than my stock IS-F wheels!!!!

Caymandive, you really should check out some Volk RE30s. Some of the lightest wheels in 18's for the 2IS. That'll help more than all the other weight removal you did IMO. You'll always run 12s with RE30s and 245 35s!!!

Toothdoc, from what I see so far the IS-F has traction issues at the drag strip. Did you consider getting a wider tire to go with your Volks?

YEOW... nice runs, whatever you dont DO NOT post that slip up in any of the SRT forums, you'll hear the same excuses the BMW guys make when they lose to a lexus.

Nah, I'm not gonna get wider tires for these rims. BUT, if I end up having more time this fall, I might get REALLY lightweight 17" rears (I think they will fit because the 18s have plenty of clearance) and get dedicated drag tires so I won't have anymore excuses!
