Very nice. Hell if you could make it stick for 2.0 you'd sail away into the 12's............

13.5 @ 104 - stock exhaust, stock smic, and not other mods except 1 bar

13.3 @ 107 - FMIC, hks exhaust, safc, 1 bar, electric fans, better suspension, wider tires, underdrive pullys, a big cooling system

If i spent that much money in my car in mods and it ran .2 tenths faster, id sell it asap. Somethings wrong wtih it

thats exactly what i told chino if you can get his 60 foot to alteast 2.0 or 1.9 forget it ,here comes the 12 seconds cause his mile per hour is really high, enough for 12 second passes but i am impressed casue this is all being done by a automatic tranny

It being an automatic = no turbo lag and can launch on boost.. his times are actually really slow. Those times he ran are like hes recieving BAD turbo lag. Those slips look identical to what a manual car would run, high mph, and slow ET. Most automatic cars are low mph, fast ET. Him going faster mph and basically the same ET.. my first guess would be the transmission is slipping.

Thats would be one of the Stupidest responses Ive heard on here. Its about traction, man..His MPH went up just like it should with his mods. Not about what tranny it is.

VJ dont be a downer. If just throwing on parts automatically makes u go faster then everyone should be fast. With chino's mph he can make it into 12's. I know this because ive been drag racing, sometimes competivley, for years. Im on my second sponsored race car. You need stop being an internet mechanic and do something credible before blasting someone else.

If your tranny theroy is true say a 6 speed car went 14.0 at 128 what about and a simliar car but AUTO went 11.8@128. If their both trapping around the same im gonna venture to guess their around the same power levels. and maybe grip has something to do with it.

If his trranny is slipping he would notice. AUTOS lose grip too. Ive seen autos spin 1st and 2nd before.

I MPH to run mid high 13s, but i run 14s due to open dif and no traction, but since Chino never lets me use that excuse, he is not getting that either. His MPH isnt half bad, but his times? Horrible. He is running 275 width rear tires with an LSD, there is no excuse to not hit 2.0s. That car should have thrown down a 12.9 on its first pass. I'm not being a downer, me and chino have had these back to back wars since i became 1JZ.

Ill give him a tip that might help the 60ft times:

Do not run thru the waterbox, and do not do a burnout on street tires.

Autos spin tires jsut as easy, or easier..

The trick to autos and their speed with a turbo car.. You can leave the line on boost. No lag. No lag from shifting. But you know that. Thats why alot of supra guys goto a TH400 with a high stall converter, or some use a 2Step with the 6spd.

You can run 13's with your mods thats why he said that. I know this because I did. I even did it in FWD Hondas. I went 13.5@100 in Type-R swapped hatch with Intake and a fart can. NO lsd, 3.75 gears(long for a honda.) on kuhmos. 2.0 60ft boom 13's. Chino's is producing much more power than you and is not getting the good times for diff reasons.

Oh by the way , Chino you doing a good job and keep it up.
