Its great, when not messing around boosting all the time hehe kinda hard it gets really good gas mileage, runs great havent had a prob yet. Plus i drive near 40 miles to work roundtrip a day and its perfectly fine.

hey man.. i was hoping that car would end up in the right hands.... I was actually thinking about picking it up for the price everton was selling it for. your mods are pretty similar to mine so i dont see why 12's wont be achievable... just dont run with those 19's lol... my 107mpg trap speed is good for a high 12sec. pass. Ill slap on a set of supra tt's with drag radials in the back one day and be on my way to the 12's. keep in mind I had a cel for my knock sensors too so the car was pulling timing.... but yea... you should be able to make a 12 second pass.. the track down there is better than orlando spinworld too... good luck and keep me updated!

Dayum chino... you have just inspired me to go 1j instead of 2j... I also really appreciate you posting your times and experiences here.. That is why I signed up to CL in the first place. A low 13 / High 12 is exactly where i want to be, and it looks like the 1j is the way to go for the price. Hopefully I will have myne swapped in by mid-summer..

you guys are harsh... as for thinking there is a problem with gaining only 2 tenths with the new mods... all that changed was the cooling mods, and the intercooler and exhaust. yea, he is now on 285s instead of 275s, but they are also heavy 18s as apose to 17s, so that slows down the acceleleration... rotational mass is a biatch. and he knows there is something wrong with the car... the knock sensor. he said it himself. the boost is still at 1bar and the safc is still zero'ed accross the board. so, untill anyone else in central florida beats a 13.3@ 107, i dont think anyone has any room to talk trash. at least chinos car stays in front of mine unlike some other florida 1Js till 65mph... oh yea, you were spinning. 
stop by the meet on wed, and take a look at chinos rear tires... you should have a much clearer understanding if you do.
