Default ***Forum Rules & Picture Posting***

Rules

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/faq...#faq_work_safe

Club Lexus strives to be a work-safe forum that allows our members to view topics without breaking most corporate web access rules. No nude images, near-nudity or overtly sexual content are allowed to be posted on our forum, used in signature images or avatars, or stored in our Club Lexus gallery. These rules apply to linked images and URLs to other sites with non-work-safe content, regardless if they are marked "NWS". These items will be removed without notice. We also ask that a certain level of decorum be observed when posting ‘gross’ pictures. If your co-worker or grandmother would be shocked if they saw what you’re posting, then don’t post it. Any profanity that cannot readily be heard on prime time network television will not be tolerated anywhere on the Club Lexus site. Members who violate the rule will be warned either in public or in private, and a second time will result in suspension. Obvious circumvention of the profanity language edits on our forum to carry the same meaning falls under this same policy. These threads or gallery pictures will have images or profanity removed and locked or deleted without notification to the member.
No linking pics to your blogs, facebook, other sites
This forum is for sharing photos and information about photo gear and techniques. It is not for generating traffic to other websites or back links or other SEO practices. Please do not do this. Your links, posts, or whole threads will be removed.

Posting Pictures

Numbering pictures
To make it easier for people to comment on your pictures, please put a number before each one in the thread. It will make it much easier for others not to have to scroll up and down to see that it's your fourth picture of 'fluffy' that is unexposed if there's a '4' right before it.

Thanks, and thanks to whoster for the great suggestion!
UL'ing pictures:

Method 1: Attachments
You can upload a picture directly from your computer to a post as an 'attachment'. Pics must be 800x600 or smaller and 100k or smaller in size.
When you create a new thread or reply to a thread there's 'Additional Options' at the bottom (if you don't see them maybe you did a quick reply in which case you need to click 'Go advanced') and there's a button labeled 'Manage Attachments' and by clicking on that you can upload your picture file.
Method 2: Link a picture stored on another web site
You can upload your pictures to another web site (like photobucket which is very popular), and then put the address (URL) of those pictures into your posts. This is better than attachments because you're not limited to size (although huge pictures over 1200 wide are not welcomed) and you can put the addresses of multiple pictures (vs. 1) in a single post.

After you've uploaded your picture to another web site, get the picture on your screen (maybe in another browser), and copy its address (URL) as follows:
Firefox - right click on the image and select 'Copy Image Location'
Internet Explorer - right click on the image and select 'Properties' and copy the address of the picture by highlighting it and right-click/copy or Ctrl-C.

Method3: Using the Club Lexus Photo Gallery Click here for tutorial

Then in your post/pm browser you can paste the the picture address between img tags like this:

Code:
[img]-pasted address-[/img]
Which shows like:

If you link in multiple pictures in a post, please number them so others can refer to them easily.
