It is the front crankshaft seal. I have read that it is a good idea to replace the PCV valve at the same time so I'm going ahead with that as well.

It sounds like the guy who did your HG cut some corners. When I did the HG job on my 2011 Prius, I purchased an engine overhaul gasket kit from Toyota. The part #04111-37315. The kit included every single gasket and seal on the engine....with front and rear crank seals being part of the list.

Yes I agree! I’m happy to say that this crank case seal replacement as well as the PCV seems to have fixed my issue finally! Any ideas about TPMS reset or sync because I had my tires replaced and all was good until a few days later when my light came on. The tires do not have any punctures and there is no air loss.
