if any members DYI installs, mods, upgrades,
I like DYI most of the work on my 2014 ct200h. I actually prefer the base model, with the intentions of upgrading many things int/ext, & adding BASS to a 6-speakers basics audio no factory sub. gonna be adding these newly engineered JL Audio MicroSub+ ACP108LG-W3v3. the 250w amp has several options for connections. its a complete all in one small system but this lil thing will bang with any system except the W6,W7. my previous car had 8" W7, 250JL amp, JL engineered box, (looks like and eye lol) won a couple local sound comp. 8" W3v3 Microsub+ specially design the built in amp, really great reviews, did my research and i went to check out how it sounds. Amazing for its size. impressive.JL audio by far the best out there.
i think this should be real simple add on/ installation. its perfect fit in hatchback.. some needed suggestions, advice on the best way to tap existing speakers wires behind radio , from there run speaker wire to back, get my signal to amp, no RCA needed, amp able to convert signals. have the diagram for wiring & color codes. but need to know how to remove radio, center console, back seats,.any advice, suggestions will be helpful thanks. AllAboutDatBASS!
this is the earlier model without built in Amp. but using JL 250w connect. shop lets you test different types and size, play your music via audio. jack see which one works best for the car.
**** bass controller for amp. optional item for JL Audio amps.

IIRC, all of the mods you want to DIY have been done and guides have been posted, so you should be able to find them between here and the ct200hforums. I made a guide a few years back for installing a mini-amp which you can use to see how the headunit and center console are removed. http://www.ct200hforum.com/forum/lex...ower-pack.html
