2012 Lexus CT200 - Warning lights on
Hi,
I have a 2012 Lexus CT200 with 160k miles. I went on vacation for 2 weeks and battery died. Recharged the battery and car started fine. Now the following warning lights are on.
1. Brake Warning Light
2. Brake System Warning Light
3. ABS Warning Light
4. Slip off Indicator Light
The car drives and brakes fine as I have been driving to and from work without issues. Anyone know how to reset these lights?
Thanks in advance.

I would get a brand new 12 volt car battery NOW. If you have AAA, just call them and tell them what's going on and they will give you a quote on the phone for a new battery replacement with installation. I've done this on my other Lexus vehicles and price is very competitive and actually was lower than Lexus dealership. Plus AAA comes to you. Nationwide warranty too.
The error codes may clear after you drive for 100 miles or so. AAA may help you? IDK?
Another option is to disconnect the old battery at least an hour prior to AAA coming so to let the entire system reset itself. Your old battery may be weak and if you just reconnect it back up, it may give you the same errors. With the strong new battery, the errors may just go away.
As always the last resort is the Lexus dealership which will definitely clear all the error codes for you, warranty or not.

Congrats, you just got the reason you wanted or may not have wanted... Then it's a I'm sorry go to dealer to get it reset. If it's congrats, it's time to go get a tech stream cable and re set the car. Make sure you get a AGM battery. Some Toyota dealerships have them in stock and is pretty check.
Unplugging and waiting is a dream and false hope that it will magically reset. Those are hard codes that will not reset with a regular OBD2 scan tool. It may reset with an autel 519 abs/SRS/generic obd scan tool.
If you happen to be in Atlanta. In box me can Meetup and I can reset it for you. I have the tools in my car at all times.
FYI running out of gas will also be another visit to the dealership because the car will not start after 3 tries.

Fyi stan!!!!!
Also, you come on here with problems, we give you advice. Common courtesy would be to report back and give back to the community with what rectified your current problem. You still have to report back from the last problem you had 6 months ago.

If you are going to wait that long. Go on Amazon and buy one of these
KKmoon Mini VCI Car OBD Diagnostic Scanner OBD2 USB Interface Scan Tool for TOYOTA TIS Techstream Diagnostic Cable & Software https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00W97K7O6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_STChAbCHHQ980
Should come with software and install it in a laptop. You will save yourself about 100+ bucks. Dealer is probably going to feed you some BS and make you spend money with them.
I have used similar cable for all my Toyotas. Saved me a ton of money over the years.

Just an update. Purchased a OBD Diagnostic Scanner and could not turn off the warning lights. As I didn't want to deal with the Lexus Dealership anymore, I traded in my Lexus CT for an Acura RDX.

this is pretty good. The guy Bought the wrong tool, it didn't work, so he traded in the car! Lol. Wish I had the luxury to trade in my car whenever something doesnt quite work out!
