The clear bra is nice in the fact that it is almost invisible, and you do not have to remove it to clean it, especially in the winter months.

But as a cheaper alternative, Colgan Custom does make a front end bra for the CT, as well as the HS, for around $155.

The model no. BC4841BC

I used these on my sons Celicas back in the day , they ruin your paint from wind under the bra. I waxed the hood had them on tight as possible , but they all flap somewhat which causes paint wear.
They look nice but ice and rain and dirt gets under them too.

definitely worth it, i installed a 3M clear bra on my cressida 3 years ago and to this day its holding up mighty fine. ive had no problems with the it at all, granted the installation was a bit tricky, you have to heat the plastic in a few spots to get to sit just right. its protects the paint real well, im glad i have it, saves me from a ton of nicks and chips on my hood and fenders. gives u peace of mind as well. i say go for it! once its there, you wont even notice it!

Yes, I believe its worth it, we had our CT since march, it has several chips already and it only has 8k miles... Everyone in my area charges $900+ for an install, IMO way overpriced, they charge over $500 for the materials itself.

If you are adventurous, you can try installing yourself, I got a 3M kit from the eBay seller "chipgardman" for $225, just make an offer and he will include the headlight protection as well.

I agree completely. I bought a front end bra for my G35 and it made a line along the edge where it was a bit loose and fluttered slightly on the highway, scratching the paint. I used it only 1 winter & threw it out. What a waste.
