Can a 2017 Bumber/headlights be fitted on the the 2014-2016 Lexus Is350
I just wanted to know if its ever been tried or if its even possible to remove the 2014-2016 headlights and bumper and replace them with the current 2017 facelift updates. If so I think the hood might have to be replaced as well.

I don't think anyone has done it yet. There was some discussion if the fenders were actually different...even the hood. The only way to be sure would be to compare the part numbers for the hood and fenders from a 2014-2016 to a 2017.
The headlights and bumper are fairly obvious. Also consider if you're going from a 2014-2016 non-F-Sport to a 2017 bumper that the inner fenders may need to be replaced also.

Anything is possible.
The Hood and fender is in question but when I was last at the local Lexus dealership, I stared at the '17+ car closely and I'm 90% sure it is the same.
The only difference is the headlamps and bumper.
Someone with deep pockets need to be the first to attempt this and then we'll know for sure.

Which parts are you claiming to be different besides the bumper and headlights of course. Are you saying that the fenders and hood from a 2017 have both been changed from the 2014-2016

If I had to bet money, I'd say the hood and fender are the same. From a manufacturing standpoint, if they were different, that would mean Lexus made a hood and front fenders that only fits 3 model years of the IS, which would make no logical business sense since the model is going to be around for some time. And yes, you could say the same thing about the headlights, taillights, and front bumper, but non of those are metal body panels that are stamped.

Yeah it would make a lot of sense if the hood and fenders are the same. It would just be too expensive for Lexus to change them since they only been around 2014-2016. It would be an interesting project if anyone tried it
