Front Wheel Gap Difference
Today I noticed that the wheel gap for my passenger front is about a 1/2" more compared to the rest of the car. Is this an alignment issue or do I need to replace something. I haven't done any modification to the car and I've measured it on various locations while parked. It is visually larger.
There's no adjustments that will fix this. You could have a misaligned body panel that's making you think you have a slump issue. Instead, measure from the from pinch welds-down to the ground- to truly check ride height. You also need to clarify exactly what you mean by wheel gap.
You mean you measured your car parked in various spots? In other words, on level ground?
You are also assuming you have cross-referenced other CTs or assume you know how the car is supposed to measure.
People used to make this mistake back in the day with the E46 BMW which famously (or notoriously to some people) sits higher on the back right side. But turns out this is intentional by BMW for ballasting purposes.
So don't assume anything.
really though unless it's affecting your handling in such a negative way, i wouldn't worry about it. it's a CT.
