Default 2016 CT200H - What should I look for

Hi All

I am shopping for a car (used) for my wife.
She travels about 44km each everyday to work on good regular road.
Traffic is moderate.
I am thinking of getting a 2016/2017 CT200H.
There is one at a major used car dealership at about 40,000km (km - I am in Australia). Market price.

Any major service which I need to be concern with coming up?
How reliable is the car?
Any advice appreciated,

Thanks

So I'm new to the car but habe sought the answers to your same questions.

Car is proven to be very, very reliable and minimal maintenance. 40k km is like new in my opinion you won't have a thing to do for quite a while.

I look for regular signs the car was well cared for. I like to make sure the oil has been done, should be done at least twice in yours now. I also look for signs of replaced parts and newly painted body panels. Yours will look near new anyways.

The 2015+ models have new engine parts which i understand remive the worry of some previous common issues. This was piston and rings, and EGR as I understand it. As well as lots of safety enhancements. Someone else will know better in that regard.

Enjoy

I do plan to change ECVT transmission fluid soon but I'm at over double the mileage of the one you're looking at.

The car is largely reliable, particularly the 2014/2015+ models which saw updates. The major thing is just like any car: frequent oil changes.

Most of the other services aren't extremely critical, but probably a good idea to do for preventive at or around 100k miles: engine/inverter coolant, water pump, egr circuit cleaning.

Around 100k, I'll probably do EGR circuit, engine/inverter coolant, water pump, transaxle fluid (again), spark plugs. but that's just cause i'm picky.

Then set to go again for another 100k (should i still want to keep an aging car at this point)
