Default SC430 vs CT200h

I have owned my 2006 sc430 for 4 years now DD. Looking for something more practical by spring. I drove a base CT 2012 and it was a cool nimble car. The double the MPG and regular fuel doesnt hurt neither. Has anyone switched from an SC430 to a CT? Does a CT base or F sport handle better then an SC430? I have yet to drive an F sport CT, I read the ride is more rough although my SC rides a little rough even with non run flat continentals. Pic of my sc.

Have driven a SC430, (considered buying one), and owned a CT. If you can, maybe go for the CT f-sport because the interior was much better than the standard model. Did not feel much suspension difference between the F-Sport and standard CT. Was impressed how the CT handled, it feels different, (just different, not worse), than a SC430, but really sporty for that kind of car. Loved the gas mpg's, and saved a lot since it used regular gas. We took the CT everywhere, and felt confident with it on the highway, or on city streets. Thought driving the CT would be boring, but actually liked the feel of it. Needed more space, so now have a NX.

Thanks for the advice appreciate it. I was impressed with the base CT, I will have to drive an F sport. Was it reliable throughout your ownership? how many miles did you put on it? my SC430 needed an o2 sensor over 4 years, I am very impressed how solid its been with 143k.

Our CT had just over 60,000 miles when traded in, with NO problems at all!
Note: We did do a test ride in a UX, and wife and I decided we liked the CT better, which is why we upgraded to a used NX.

On US models, there's literally no difference in the interior between F-Sport and standard, aside from perforated steering wheel and shift ****, and only black interior available in F-Sport (which is a downgrade for me personally). All the F-Sport differences are in the exterior, with slightly better handling but harsher ride.

These cars are basically a Prius, which have proven reliability for almost two decades, on top of proven reliability records of the CT in the last decade. Last year it won JD Powers most resale value for a small premium car: https://clark.com/cars/jd-power-resale-value-awards/

Firstly your SC is a stunning car!!
My Dad has a 2019 CT 200h and it does ride a little rough and it is very slow compared to everything in the Lexus range!
I actually made a video on my dad's CT vs my mums IS if you want to see it? I cover the pros and cons of owning/driving the CT

You're forgetting about the aluminum pedal accents, the black headliner and pillar covers, and the silver interior trim, all exclusive to the F sport. All together, it enhances the interior over the standard model. Especially the headliner.

The machined two tone wheels are worth it for the package alone.
