2013 CT 200 Temperature Light

2013 CT 200 Temperature Light
All of a sudden Temperature light just pop up on dashboard, is just for a a few seconds then disappear. Checked engine out to see if was some kind of visible
problem but nothing, no fumes or smoke. Could somebody explain if is normal. Some kind of sensor or something. It happened today and kept driving it
and no problem. Hopefully is not a big deal.

sometimes that hat light will pop up if it is colder outside
