Default Front License plate tow hook suggestions?

We want to install a front plate on my wife's car but don't want to use the ugly plate holder.

Is there a good company that makes a tow hook front license plate mount for this car?

thanks!

+1 on this, just bought a CT earlier today and had them guarantee they won't drill into the grill. I know grimmspeed is the gold standard for the IS. does anyone know if the CT and IS have the same attachment?

We have a Club Lexus member special on tow hook license plate adapters @ $24.99, here is the tow hook thread in the vendor section. You can even read more on our website: iJDMTOY Lexus CT Tow Hook License Plate Adapter. A lot of people don't want a front plate smack dab in the center of the front end, so the no modification tow hook license plate adapter is a good alternative.

so I went with the grimmspeed just where that type of design had better reviews as far as where it sits compared to the bumper. The one above is 1/3 the price but doesn't seem quite as adjustable as the grimmspeed. I can't say anything about longevity but it is very sturdy assuming you tighten everything properly. The kit comes with all mounting hardware, screws and 2 plate frames. heres the link to the item i purchased:

We actually bought this JDMtoy setup online. Went to install it last night and it did not have the allen key tool.

Besides that hiccup the rest of the installation went pretty well.

Will post a photo later this week.

thanks!

IIRC, I pushed on side inward and pulled the other out with a plastic pry tool, microfiber towel down on the bumper to avoid any paint gouging/scratching. There is a small plastic hook that keeps it attached once opened, it pulls right out though.

Have not had any issue with the plate holder loosening, rotating, etc in over a year. It is regularly highway driven with frequent car washes and snow storms. Highly recommend.

I plan on putting it on the drivers side. Does it matter what side you pushed inward? Did you push inward from the side closest to grill or vice versa, thanks btw! I'll post pics when I get it done.

not sure tbh since it was a while ago. I remember it took all of 10 minutes to install and take pictures.
