One thing that you may not be aware of when getting an RES+ system is that the dealer will install two small antenna on the top of the passenger side of the windshield. I'm trying to get a hold of my dealer to find out if this location is absolutely necessary.
Dealer told me the antenna needs to be on the glass. It could be on the rear glass, but would require tearing out the carpeting to run the wiring and would cost more than double the labor.
Heard back from service. You can't even install them on the rear glass due to the shielded cable length (which cannot be extended). Also, the position they were installed at is the location recommended by Lexus. I think I'll just leave them there for now. I'm getting used to it.

Yes. It costs $65 USD a year (basically $5.42 a month).

All 2015 Lexus models that have been redesigned now use Lexus Enform Remote instead of RES+, the GX being one of the exceptions. This means that RES+ won't be installed unless someone before you had it installed, because it does not come from the factory.
Do you have any antenna like the ones in my pictures? Did you get any plastic cards that go on your keychain that explain the operation of the system? If you did have RES+, your normal key fob will also remote start, but I'm not sure if this requires the RES+ registration. You can try it though, just be near your car and press the lock button 2 times and then a third time, but hold it down on the third (so press, press, hold). Your car should flash its lights as if you're locking the car, but it should flash 10 times in a row, indicating a remote start. Hitting the unlock button will turn the car off. See if it works for you.
