Default CT200 Loaner

I've owned Lexus vehicles for awhile but never drove a CT.I asked for one while my GS recall is being done if they can get all of the parts which is another story.
Being honest,I've knocked the CT.
However,I have it as a loaner and boy is this car fun to zip around in.
I've always felt it was too slow at 0-60 in 10 seconds but around town it's actually peppy and fun to drive.
Somehow even merging on a highway,no GS but it doesn't feel too slow.
I like it!

My Lexus dealer's loaner car dept people love me, because I always asked for the CT as loaner. I have tried all their other cars (just for fun) that includes IS, ES, HS, and RX, but I felt most comfortable driving the CT. They told me that some customers get "angry" when they were told that the CTs are the only cars left as loaners.

This is what the other drivers who compare it to a Prius doesn't understand.

Imagine if you change out the stock LRR tires for stickier ones.

Is this a 2015 CT?

I'm very surprised. I had a CT back not long after I got my GS as a loaner and hated it. Haven't driven the refresh.

The 2014 was the refresh (2015 isn't out yet). Among the many changes included, nearly 100 small changes were made to make the car quieter and more comfortable.

I'll have to test out a 2014 then and see if my opinion is different.

it is zippy and fun and easy to park. not the quickest to 60 but fast enough. if i don't need a larger loaner for space, i like getting CT loaners because it's easy on the gas if they ask you to fill it up prior to return. plus it's regular unleaded

Great car if you're looking for a hybrid/daily. Had one in LA and it was a blast to drive around town and not worry about killing so much gas. At my dealership, the only thing stopping most "men" from driving it is the public perception the CT gives, which I think is dumb.

With the refinement of the 2014 / available lease option, I'd highly consider the CT if I was in the market for a new car/daily.

I think that must be a Lexus dealership thing. When I bought my CT, the guy who does my contract kept telling me how the guys in the dealership treat the CT. "One time our manager got the CT as the loaner, and he was late to work. We asked him if he ran into head wind on the way to work."

At my work, there are Prius everywhere. Just about every Prius owners were interested in the CT when I first got it. There weren't that many around. By now I see CT everywhere.

I bought a 2014 F Sport back in April and I.m still very happy with the car...even in the mile high city the acceleration is just fine in the sport mode!! If Lexus could somehow eek out another 20% horsepower it would be an amazing car...even at the loss of a few mpg.

This applies to ALL cars.
Similar analogy is with income.

In both regards, you can never have too much.
