Default 2014 CT200h test drive

I test drove the new CT200h last weekend. What a change! I have an IS300h hybrid, and the new CT is big leap towards IS in feel and driving. Still the same hybrid drivetrain, but the power delivery is more linear, and it feels faster. Overall a lot more premium compared to the former version. I really liked it. Only missed the extra 80hp my IS has.

I like them. But rims are really easy to change if you don't like them.

Me too, I really like the 2014 rims. Essentially, I like the all the 2014 updates (including the spindle grill), with the exception of the rear bumper. The jury's still out on that one, IMO.

What BHP does the CT have in Europe? Here the CT gets 134 with the combined drivetrain, and it feels slow. The thing that makes the power so wanting is the amount of noise she makes to really not get any faster. I love my CT but I really want the 210BHP the IS300h gets.

To answer my own question in case someone else was interested. The IS300h as sold in the UK has 223HP and the CT200h has 136HP. If you ask me the 8.3s 0-60 time in the IS is more preferable to the 10.4 we see in the CT. Again I love my car but wish is had more... go.

There are some different ways to count power depending on where you are. HP, BHP, PS and so on are all horse power.
Bottom line is the CTh and ISh has the same engine and drivetrain everywhere it's sold.

Although the new CT basically has the same drivetrain, the new one feels more powerful and faster.

But sure, a CT 300h would be nice.
