Default Key hole delete for door handle

Does anyone know where to get a plug for the keyhole on the door for the CT?

Is like to do this as well. I'm curious if some of the other Lexus models are compatible.

Did this on my previous car about 5 years ago and at the time I was able to just find a plug at home depot that worked.

Interested in this as well. Would probably be better if we could find a matching paint option instead of a home depot black plug (I'm assuming it was a black rubber plug).

I found a few sites but don't know if the diameter will work etc. Also they are not made for our car and wrong paint codes.
http://www.keytechniques.net/iQ-Keyhole-Cover.html
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...8#tab-features
http://www.smoothlock.com/fitment/

Still have not found a site that just specializes in Lexus.

Has anyone thought about seeing if our oem rear door handle block off portion will fit the front door handle and possible be ordered separately?

That's the method the civic 4g guys use to flush out their handles (use the back ones from the sedan) but I doubt anyone hates that tiny hole enough to shell out dealership money for some handles.

I'll go out tonight with the digital micrometer and measure that hole, then we can see which one would fit. It seems like those guys from key techniques are all about this, and if there's enough of us, and could be urged to buy some Lexus paint pints.

19mm at the outside of the hole which tapers to 14.2mm at the smallest/innermost point where the metal of the lock begins. I'm sure that something either 19mm or 14mm would do depending on your desired look.

Awesome work Fakter1! What do you think about these: http://www.camarocollectibles.com/ca...r-Lock-Covers/

Think they would work with the CT. They come in gloss black or can be painted etc.

Can't really say if they will work or not because it depends on how they attach. If they are just plugs then they will might fall out because of the taper. For only ten bucks, it might be worth testing it though. I'll defer to another member for that trail run.
