Looking to trade in my 2005 ES330 for a CT200h. One issue I have always had with Lexus is the green backlight on the radio. I just don't like it for some reason. Has anyone out there made an attempt at changing this light?

I am thinking a shad of blue or red.

 

Blue would be fantastic.
I think one of the errors of Lexus was not to use blue for all interior electronical lights...

Check with LED guy he can swap blue LED for you.

 

If anyone actually does this PLEASE post a tutorial. I bet just about every CT owner ever would want this...

 

I don't think that it will be as simple as an LED change unfortunately. I think that it would require changing the display unit. I would think the system would need to be removed and then have a new display unit soldered on. I could be wrong but it looks like by the radio type that would be required.
