My dealer chromed the stock wheels and added $2000. They look fantastic on the Starfire Pearl and after seeing them, I had to have them.
I ended up paying around $500 for them instead of the over-inflated $2000 and the only reason I did that is because they are covered under the Lexus warranty.
Actually thats not true. If the dealer added the chrome, your dealer will warrant it. Lexus doesn't offer chrome wheel packages as factory warranted accessories, only dealerships do. If you happen to have a problem later down the road (air pressure leaks due to poor chrome plating) you will need to bring it to the attention of the dealer you bought it from. Otherwise you will have issues if you take it in for warranty at another dealer.
