Rear brake caliper replacement bleeding procedure
Im in the process of replacing the rear calipers. I disconnected the battery before starting. I was researching the brake bleeding process and kept coming across posts and videos that pertain to bleeding the abs module.. Im not coming anywhere near that module with the rear calipers. I had hoped I could simply use a vacuum bleeder at the calipers and that would be that. Hopefully one of you fine folks can set me straight on this. Thanks!

You have to put the car in Invalid mode (google it) before doing any brake work, or else the hydraulic pump will activate when it senses a pressure drop. Once the caliper work is done and you're still in invalid mode, you can vacuum bleed. Invalid mode prepares the brake system to be worked on and properly bled.
