After a few months of heavy misfires, a month or so of losing coolant/overheating, engine died while driving before I could find a mechanic to do the headgasket job . then I finally found one on another forum but price for engine replacement. wasn't worth it. so it's gone to either junkyard or mechanic fixing for a new owner.
I got it used in 2019, put almost 100k miles on her. was probably my favorite car I ever owned.
Here she was, that model3 is gone too (sold in 22)
I'm also another that had an 7ES as a successor to my CT. Two 7ESes in fact =) Surprised given your green vehicle history, you didn't go for the hybrid. The hybrid ES is much more aggressive and potent than the CT... i think a lot of people avoid it thinking its the same. at times it felt too powerful!

Hah, I remember your informative posts about your CT on this forum, kinda surprised you've got a Tesla now.
Honestly the only things I kinda miss about tesla are the the tech/software and the performance - no ICE car will compare to it - , I don't miss charging, the seats, too minimal interior, no dash instruments/HUD, and the FSD where I felt like I'm beta testing a product that should have been tested already, nonetheless the FSD is way ahead of any other manufacturer's cruise control or autopilot I've experienced, but still not advanced enough that I would use it that frequently, I still trust my own instincts more than software.
I forgot to mention that we have another CT we got right before covid, a 2016 special edition(or is it black edition) fsport, that's mostly driven by my wife though,
As for getting the V6, I never had a car with one so that played part of it I guess, and I agree maybe I should have got the hybrid for the better mileage but I was mainly shopping for a sportier looking/sounding car this time around, I was actually cross-shopping mainly audi a5/s5/a6 and MB E-class. yet somehow I ended with a friggin' lexus again.
