Flex has introduced a smaller backing plate for their highly acclaimed XC3401VRG polisher. This factory replacement backing plate measures 4.375" in diameter, allowing the use of 5" or 5.5" polishing pads. It is constructed using the same hook and loop



"Velcro" backing and gearwheel drive as the standard 5.5" factory backing plate insuring the same low vibration, forced rotation, random orbital polishing.

By easily changing out the original 5.5" backing plate for this new 4.375" backing plate you can now use smaller, 5" or 5.5" polishing pads on your FLEX C3401VRG.

This backing plate is specifically designed for the Flex XC3401VRG and cannot be used on other polishers.

If you berth your craft in a warm, humid climate, you have another enemy. Mildew! Marine topping material does not promote mildew growth by itself but it can develop in surface dirt and films. Mildew can also grow on tops sprayed with silicone oils. Never use silicone "protectants" on bimini tops. The best defense against mildew and material degradation is a regular program of keeping the top clean and protected.
