Do you have to remove the existing diffuser to install this one?

Does this diffuser stick on top of the OEM one? Or the OEM one comes off and this takes its place?

Question

Hi dear Stillen team, I very like "our" front lip because of the good quality product and nice design
However "we are" easily noticed the "gap" between a "rear diffuser" and the bumper. Because of the that gap It creates the effect of wavy lines which is very scary.

Now please "dear Stillen" may you answer our questions please.
- Is that a not proper installation or the quality of the official rear diffuser ? (noway)

This is the pictures of the car. (exactly the same as on a picture)

take a look here

Please guys can you explain whats happening.
Best Regards.

I'd love to see it fit with the ARK Grip Exhaust

The Diffuser is installed over the OEM Piece in this location.

The Diffuser attaches to the OEM Piece which pops in with clips. It is possible it popped out of the clips slightly which you just have to push back in. I don't see that in any of the other pictures.

I agree it looks pretty good but I'm not sure it's worth the price tag when it's just a plastic cover. For $560 you get a full replacement carbon fiber rear diffuser from Seibon. It's almost $400 for a plastic cover...is just overpriced imo

Worth is a rather subjective. Yes, you could buy a Fiberglass part with some Carbon Fiber over it for $160 more. You could have also bought a BMW 335i for a couple thousand more than your IS350 LOL.

We decided to make something a little different than what was available so this is not intended to be a cheap copy of another part. Our body parts are made of high quality Poly-Urethane and manufactured here in USA (Costa Mesa, CA to be specific). Our parts have never been known for being cheap, but we do have a reputation for quality and service that build value for our parts.

Question

When will the unpainted version be available on the website for purchase?

Is the unpainted version black?

Will the unpainted version need sanding and prep for a DIY paint job or is the surface smooth and paint ready?

I am not sure when the unpainted version will be up on the website. I can put an order in for you if you'd like one. Just shoot me a PM with your Contact Info.

The unpainted version needs sanding and prep before painting. Takes a little bit of time but can be done pretty easily.

Thanks for the info. I'm still on the fence on un-painted versus painted. Save a few $$ or save a few hours of work. When you figure in the free shipping, the prices are pretty reasonable so, still thinking about which way I want to go. It is a nice looking piece, good job.

We just had a forum member stop by and did a test fit with the ARK Exhaust. It fit over the tips just fine. He took a couple pictures of us holding it in place so maybe he'll post those up
