Default Anyone got ticket for exhaust

Hey guys, has anyone with a modified exhaust got ticketed yet? Was thinking of buying an ARK exhaust but kinda second guess it as i dont want to waste 1k just to get a ticket and take it off...Of course I know it is different for everyone and not everyone has cops looking for them in their city. I'm just curious as to how many of you guys actually get hassled.

They been on top of this in SD. I been told this is an $800 fine and no longer a fix it ticket. I reached out to the manufacturer of my axleback and they recommended carrying a sound pressure test meter, which was only $12 on ebay.

I bet, in Irvine I know they are not messing around. I seen a car meet get freaking invaded. Suck that we cannot mod the cars like we used but then again Cali is getting stricter everyday. Crazy how if someone gave someone else aid they made it from a felony to a misdemeanor. I could understand the exhausts that are ridiculously loud but their are some semi loud ones that have a really nice sound to them.

I'm not getting popped anymore, or that's bc I don't frequent meets or gatherings as much as before...
it all depends on a lot of circumstances, and we do get profiled regardless of what people say.

if your car looks "racey" it will be scrutinized by the police - that comes with the territory! tinted windows, no front license plate, exhaust, it's all low hanging fruit.
