Default Place to install my coilovers/4 wheel alignment in SoCal?

What's the shop that will give me the best deal on both? I remember I used to get my car aligned by a guy named Darren in Carson. Forgot the guys shop name but he was good

honestly, i say install the coilovers yourself and save the money for the alignment.

that said, tommy for installation of coils overs, although i think he recently raised his price.

and alignment, firestone has lifetime alignment through a socal member here, jordan's. search and you should be able to find the thread really easily

wait 1-2 weeks after the installation of coilovers so they settle before you get an alignment!

Hit up wheelhouse in rosemead. I believe they do coilover installs and good alignment for cheap.

tommy @ musicbox for coilovers install, cyrus @ jc auto house for alignment; a search will pull up their respective shop addresses.

on a related note, if the installation was performed correctly (and to my knowledge tommy knows how to install them correctly), all that you need to do is to reset the bushings and you're ready for an alignment. coilovers "settling" is a myth.

i believe you are talking about West End alignment, they are renowned for their work but usually have a 2 week or so wait.

projectdna- that's not what eibach, megan, and tein have told me , but they generally did mention that a couple days is enough time for everything to settle/compress out.

go to Platinum VIP!! They are a full service shop, lower and align at the same place. Most places do not offer that service

You're talking about West End Alignment. He doesn't do computerized laser alignment, just mechanical. He specializes in corner balancing so if you track the car and have coilovers definately have him take care of you.

Springs are not suppose to settle. If they do, then they're crappy. I still drive around for a day, because there still needs to be some 'settling' if you're on a new suspension. On suspension that are already used, you can take it straight to the alignment shop.

dampers dont but bushings do ever so slightly. Top hat, if theyre rubber, can compress which is why I said used components can be thrown on without worries. Theyre already broken in
