Default does anyone have a LS460 or LS600 front brake caliper lying around?

im looking to borrow a front brake caliper and bracket for a LS460 or 600.... im just going to use it to test fit it on my ES350 .. unfortunately my ES brakes suck and i dont want to go for a BBK. i was wondering if the LS brakes would fit on my car... or even a GS, but i do believe GS and ES share the same front brakes? correct me if im wrong. thanks! im located in the 909 area.

i'll borrow it for a day, or a few hours even. it wont be anytime soon though, probably in a few weeks or a month.

i have a set of stock ls460 brakes (calipers, rotors, pads, lines) almost brand new in my garage. if you want, feel free to test on them. if there is a way to get them to work, i will let them go at great price too.

also, gs and es don't share the same front brakes

let me know

Just wondering.. if the GS shares the same brakes as the ES... arnt the bold pattern different compared to the LS460?

i understand LS430 uses a different bolt pattern compared to the 2GS.. but not sure how it works for the newer one.

4ls and 3gs have different brakes.

but 3gs and es350, different brakes too. 3gs have bbk already, iirc, es350 don't?

You will need a fab bracket in order for it to work... Maybe.

I've seen people put Audi brakes on Lexus's before. they don't have the same bolt pattern...etc.

very intrested in this I thought about the same thing but I don't know anyone with a Ls460 that is willing to take it apart to try this I want the Ls460 brakes because the callipers say Lexus and come in black (stuipid reason)but makes it look more oem.Will you be trying it for the rear as well.I know rotora makes a kit for the Es350 but it's very pricey! keep me posted my Es needs some sick looking LS460 calipers

Well ES350 is FWD. No one really mods them.

What are you going to do about rotors once you get the calipers on? The LS has a different bolt pattern from any other Lexus, so a stock LS460 rotor won't work on an ES unless it is redrilled.

that's a negative on the LS460 calipers... and also i got to try out the GS350 calipers also... which didnt fit as well. the bolts on the LS460 caliper were about 7 1/2 inches apart. the GS about 5 1/2 inches... while my ES was 6 1/2 inches.

Thanks henry for letting my drop by. it was great meeting you. hopefully i'll see you around on the street or at a meet somewhere
