I have both cars, and believe me........the 3GS is a waaaaay better car. everything from the door seals, to the trunk carpeting, to the roadnoise. The Lexus is a much nicer car. but thats why its $25K more.
P.S.- probly 90% of the 300's out there are modded in the most "Ghetto" way possible. 24" wheels with no suspension mods......Bentley Grill.....5% Tint.....bumpin' Rap music, etc...
.....it pisses me off and im ashamed to drive one sometimes.

So funny, many cars in NorCal got them 22"-24" on a little *** car
I am from the Bay also, and I do notice a lot of the cars are on 22"-24" rims that are no brands and so cheap.
I have even seen many Lexus SC300 - SC400 on 22" and OMG the scariest site ever.
I have even seen 24" Ghetto Chrome wheels on an LS400 and the car looks like 4WD and super high off the ground.
What are those guys thinking while driving so high in the air???

Ok so i was buying gas at a shell one nite and a 300c chrysler came to pump next to me. He had 24's on his chrysler "one piece" generic brand knock off. I know this cuz i use to own a custom paint shop and sold wheels. anyways he said " Nice car man"! i said thanks bro ! you too!" then he goes you gota step it up with some 22's on your lex.1st of all 22's wont fit on a 06 ES330 ! i said ! then he says then you gota get a big boy toy with big boy wheels like mine. ! So at this point im like ! YO you drive a nice car but its not a big boy car. its not even a hemi! or got leather seats . ! and you got some boo boo wheels. then he says you got 20's i gotz 24's !! then im like my joint is a 3 piece vellano wheel forged modular wheel. retail $1625 each. then he goes what is a 3piece wheel!!???? duh!! i told him his wheel ill estimate my cost 900 with tires retail it for like 2200-2400$. he said mine is bigger and better.. i said mine may be smaller but with quality. anyways my point is why do people that drive these chargers and 300c think they big ballin cars. and cocky! does anyone notice this !? its a nice car but PEOPLE treat it like its a bentley! its not!!!
Lexus>chrysler.... game set and match.... It plus even if he would have gone all out with moding his car it has no true luxury appeal then a Lexus... I rather drive my girl in a Lexus then a Chrysler...

I'm in a PT Cruiser rental at the moment. Just opening the door to this thing, the wife commented, "I'm not going to like this car." By the time we made the 1.7 mile trip home, it was confirmed. 
It isn't horrid, for us it lacks a lot of what I find Toyota plans in a car. In the looks dept...any first gen Lexus has more appeal than the Chrysler/Dodge product. The 3-GS shoo...it's far more refined IMO.

i went to keyes lexus van nuys about couple months ago, i was about to take a picture of the 08 LS...with big A$$ chrome rims with scissor door and had a huge painting all over it, and i was about to post it here. Especially on the front and side WITH RED FLAME coloring. One of the rep. from the dealer asked me if i like the looks on the car... I was "are you kidding me? that looks like a CIRCUS CAR!"

lol...my neighbor two doors down has a 300 Hemi on 24" (IDK about those rims) Lambo doors and moved the exhaust to the center. He thinks his big balling, driving down the street in blowing his stereo system...lame! spent to much money on a Chrysler.
