what up people. thought it would be appropriate for my first post to be in this forum since I do live in so cal. I live in san diego 858 area. been drivin a 90 ls400 for over a year now but only recently have I been interested in maintaining it and fixing it up a little. I have little to no auto knowledge but I'm looking to change that. been checkin out club lexus this past week and it's interesting to read/see what people do to their cars...especially ls400's. learning from these forums will definitely help me.

vip style it! my first lexus was a 1990 LS. when i sold it it had 192k miles on it and everything worked perfectly except the seat heaters. all i did was a timing belt and water pump to keep it running.
it's all stock right now. only 150k miles on it so i'm pretty proud of that. i've been lookin through the ls forum...good info. unfortunately i don't have the funds to vip it out but i love the vip look on the ls. i'm lookin to tint it soon and get the clear front signal lights. gotta wax it too! i'm open to suggestions on inexpensive mods. tryin to keep a clean classy look. how should i tint? i was thinkin 30-35% for all the passenger windows and the back.

welcome to club buddy, im from Los Angeles and not San Diego but wanted to welcome you. as for the tints, i have 30% all around on my SC, i think its preference, some peole like them darker than other, in my opinion, i would say maybe 25% for the all the back windows.
