im deciding between royal purple or mobil 1, which brand do you use? if then has been posted before sorry. search wont let me search in a specific section.

 

i use mobil 1, because i can buy the bigger 5 qt. bottle at walmart and save like $5-6 and its a heck of a lot easier to find rather than royal purple.

German Castrol 0W30...right now between Royal Purple and Mobil1, I would give Royal Purple a try since I haven't been happy with Mobil 1 and consumption issues (along with other folks) over the past year or so.

 

try out eneos, i did on my sc400 and noticed a slight power gain, but very slight. As for protection you cant beat mobil 1 synthetic, but who really knows wut goes on in the engine?

this is an old topic, but i will play. royal purple in everything.
i saw a show on speed vision and they dyno a car before and after a RP oil change in Eng,Trans and diff. it showed a gain of 8 or 9whp, so i use rp. my second option is top of the line castrol.

 

Anyone else use Amsoil? Usually I'm using either that or Mobil 1.

I'm going to use amsoil next. I use to use royal purple and I currently have mobil 1 in my car. Royal purple was okay, but I wouldn't buy it again because it was too costly for something that I didn't think was worth it. Mobil 1 is overpriced now ever since they switched ingredient in their oil.

So amsoil it is for me!

 

where can you get amsoil at?

 

i just changed my oil today with mobil 1 synthetic and mobil 1 oil filter simply because there's a coupon special at kragen's.
