You can put any size of rims as long as it doesn't stick out of the fender. wow, no rim size requirement!!! waaay easier to pass recon, but ya gotta make an appointment! mahalo for da FYI...
Since you don't need recon for rims now, i would just use my stock wheels to get my recon.
dude, leave your wheels on... well, i would? so, they can note your rims and whatever on the recon paper list thing!
my friend was saying something about my fog lights... i raised my coilovers to pass the height requirement and that's it!
your car is sorta kinda like my car... just different color and rims, right? if so, no worries... oh, i had to lift my car to get an alignment! man, lose money... anyways, good luck!
they did do away wit da lowest (fogs) light height requirement didnt they, so i've heard???
i asked my dad about the fog lights being too low... he said, no worry! i asked several times... he looked in his manual book thing and said, look nothing so stop asking me the same question!
the inspector measured my bumpers and that's it... i paid, filled out a paper, signed on the line, thank you and have a nice day!
well i have OEM replacement shocks anyway.....and the tein s techs are more for looks rather than functionality should be an easy pass for me when my alignment kit comes in from samson.
I just went a week ago. The inspector push the front and back and I saw about a little more than half an inch of travel and he pass me for recon.
Are you sure he only failed for the suspension travel?
Depends on the inspector. My friend failed once because of the lack of suspension travel. He did nothing, went back another day, the same inspector did the same test by pushing on the bumper and passed him. The push on bumper test is do unscientific that the inspector could possibly not eat his wheaties for breakfast and fail you because he was too weak that morning

They should be more consistent on doing the bounce test cause the last few cars that I had to get recon for, they did not even bounce the car.
