Default A little help?

Just wondering if anyone in the Chicago area would be willing to help install BC coilovers on an IS350. I'm recovering from an ankle break and was hoping someone could help me out, so I can get these on finally. Willing to compensate with food and beer (21+ only). Let me know....

I can probably help you out. Where are you located?

But you might want a shop to do it. I installed springs on my '07 IS350 and it was just a pain with all the rusted stuff. You're going to need impact tools and my rear struts wouldn't come out even with an impact wrench and PB Blaster. But since I was just putting on springs, I got them in with the struts still in.

I've worked on old Hondas and I can't imagine my Lexus being rusted worse than that. I have no choice but to break everything loose since I'm doing coilovers, but thanks for the reminder to soak everything in PB Blaster the night before.I will probably be using just hand tools and a breaker bar (don't have air tools). I'm up near jefferson park.

Ended up using a lift and air tools. Had a friend help me out and we installed the coils in a little over an hour; the IS350 suspension was cake. Nothing was seized up at all. We spent more time cutting away parts of fender liner, bumper tabs, and shaving then doing the suspension install.
