hey guys,
here is my problem, i have an appointment at illgarage to install my midpipe, exhaust and rear sway this saturday. should i just go ahead and get it done or should i wait for a couple weeks in the hope of better weather? not sure if i want to get this nice new shiny exhaust covered in salt right from the start.
opinions?
thanks,
bryan

Is your car your DD?
I say install ASAP! You can always clean it up later. Plus, its not like, just because you're driving in nice weather, you won't get crap on your exhaust... think road tar!
Just don't throw baller wheels on til all the snow is gone and its rained a lot so all the salt is leeched out of the roads.

I would personally install it, it's a exhaust, it's going to get dirty anyway... Enjoy it as much as you can
And Jason, I'm gonna need another detail this spring, this winter has wreaked havoc on my car once again

just install it. I am driving with ~3" or road clearance with everything on my car with the exception of my summer rims/tires. I have no issues. Just make sure to use the quarter wash to rinse off any salt so its not sitting on your car. I hardly drive my car but I still take it weekly to rinse her down

Do you take your car to a do-it-yourself or a regular car wash? I found with this Matador Red, first time with the rubber bristols, it put fine lines in the paint. So now I have it arranged at Woodfield Lexus to go and get it washed anytime I want. Not that THEY do a great job, but the follow up is easier. Just bring that wax and shine or whatever and wipe off the lines of salt that runs down. I hate that. I want spring!
