I have to say, of all the tints I got on my cars...oh wait, they were done by one person, This was the best job I have ever had. Anyone local, I highly recommend them. And they let you watch! I've never seen it done before so I was excited that they let me and my son in to experience this.
Actually, if you look at the other side of the door, you see a big difference. If I didn't want to stay 'legal', I would definately have gone darker. But I got the highest grade which reduces the most son which is good. Keep that new car interior lasting longer.

Yes he is. Both of them are very nice. That is my new place. Until I see if he is on the high side for a clear bra....I'll be back.

I had stopped at Midwest tinting when I had my Mercedes AMG and really didn't care too much for the atmosphere.
But you are right, any other tints I need, will be with him.
I kept looking at the windows driving in and they are beautiful! No film, no bubbles, nothing.

They did my tints and clearbra, Depending on what your getting done $400 does not sound to bad.

The entire front end, mirrors, etc.
But my son found someone a little cheaper. But you know what they say about cheaper sometimes. I might pay for it in the long run....

^ yea I would be careful...you dont know what they are using and are they going to be around when you need them. I have one, and only one, guy I take my cars to for clear bar and have for the past 12+ years. They are not the cheapest around but are backed by several high end car dealers and they sponsored one of the Chicago meets!

Nino told me to come back to check to make sure there were no bubbles or cracks due to the type of windows (something about being double-layered windows). But I don't see a thing wrong. I'll go back anyway to have them checked, since he's the expert!

Thanks to everyone for the feedback on Umbra.

Quote: A couple of things....I sold my winter mats to a CL member and he said he just got them done on his GS over there and he showed me all the bubbles. He told me 'you get what you pay for'.
That's me. I had Cesar do mine and have white bubbles in every window. I'm pretty disappointed.

Yea I know....I didn't want to mention any names......
I sure wish you would have gone to Umbra. Maybe Ceasar will redo it????
I actaully never realized how bad mine were until I went there. They are CRYSTAL clear. Ok, I won't rub it in...

How long has it been since you tinted the windows? He's done 5 of my cars and 100's of cars from here, maxima.org and the VW forums for members. I'm sure it's just a fluke. He will definitely redo the windows if you're not happy.

^you get married yet?

yes Cesar gives a lifetime warranty so you can go back. No one is perfect...we all have an off day or something goes wrong. I am taking my wife's car to have it done soon since I am going to drive it more and turn the GS into the garage "queen" and store it for the rest of this winter.
