Any recommendations for a shop to do wheel alignment in Chicago or 'burbs? I have heard some shops charge a one time fee and you can bring your car back for more alignments. Ever heard of this?

I have a '00 gs3 with +145,000. The reason I'm asking about alignments is since I hit a huge pothole this past Feb. I had gerber repair my car (very bad decision to have them do the work but USAA insurance recommended them) I have since replaced pass. outer tie rod and driver side lower ball joint...and still have steering wheel shimmy above 30mph...both accelerating, braking, and coasting ...but inconsistent.
So I'm thinkin due to age and mileage I am likely looking at replacing more steering/susp. components in the future and therefore repeated alignments...but #1 for me is quality of work performed by shop and then location, price, etc. Thanks!!!

 

really any place can do it. you can only adjust toe on these cars. I had mine done at the dealer when I lowered it. I went to McGrath Lexus. They have 2 locations.

 

firestone lifetime alignment...i think its a one-time fee of $130? i bought this for 2 of my cars and they dont care if you come back for a 2nd alignment 2 weeks later. and you can use a promo coupon that they have occassionally in the paper or online to take some off the total.

 

I get all my maintenance and suspension work done at 4season's on belmont and austin

 

This is who we started going to for race alignments and just normal alignments. This guys does alot of the BMWCCA and SCCA and miata club stuff from what i have heard. We had our 996 Turbo in there last week for a race alignment before the track and the guy did an awesome job.
