Smile charitable items

I have a ton of kids toys and 2 computers I am looking to donate to the needy. All are good but I have no use for and want to give them to someone that is not so fortunate. Any suggestions on where I can take this in the burbs? I have donated clothes but I have never taken stuff like this before. If you have someone that has kids that are going through a hard time that can use the toys let me know and I will give them to you. Its manly all boy stuff but all in good condition.

The PC's one needs some TLC (basically just whipe it clean and reload software on it) The kids I think just got too many things downloaded on it and its running very slow. The other I had it all redone and its good and not that bad of a PC. Its my old PC and still pretty good with todays technology. I was thinking maybe to take the PC's to the Church?

Let me know what you think please. Steve I think you posted that you where involved with something if I recall. If this can help out with that please let me know we can meet up or let me know where to go.

Thank you!
Mike

thanks Brian. That was my thoughts as well. I called the local church that we go to and left them a message. I figure they could at least use the PC but not so sure on the toys. The dont have a School with this church so I think I may need to find some other options.

Jason thats a far drive for me and I would assume there must be something closer to me (another Salvation Army) or something similar.

If you still have it, Shelter, Inc on Roselle Rd. is a charity for abused children. All proceeds go to them. Awesome place.
