Yes it smokes all day long. Jk.
Okay this all started a month or so ago, and went away until now.**
When I push on the gas at a light or from a stop, this large amount of smoke (almost looks like I seafoamed my car) pours out of my exhaust, it has a slight blue tint to it and doesn't smell sweet so I know it isn't antifreeze, I am thinking it may be oil? Yet my oil levels are fine although I am noticing quite a bit of oil around my valve cover which leads me to believe I have a leak somewhere, I also know my head gasket needs to be replaced in due time but if the gasket were leaking wouldnt it be smoking from the hood and not the tail??
While I drive even I can note a slight hue of pale smoke (not that cold-weather driving smoke) trailing behind me, and when I stop and go at a light the smoke it causes covers like the car behind me ..
I'm stumped.

Lexus Test Driver
I am going to breakdown some possible causes of the smoke:
If it's usually white smoke (after car is warmed up completely) it might be because of anti-freeze or shotty gas.
But if it's blue smoke your car is probably burning a small amount of oil, so small that you may not be able to tell when checking your levels. It might be worn out O-rings, oil on the spark-plugs, and like you have mentioned the head gasket going. And you said that why won't the car be smoking from the hood or the gasket area, might be because the oil is being burned in the cylinder chamber and is getting forced like any other exhaust through the exhaust system.
Do you have bad MPG's? It can also be caused by the car running to rich, which is probably from a faulty oxygen sensor (s).

I do have a CEL (misfire), and I know my car is running real rich, I also have no cat, I am running a test pipe but that was put on year ago with no issues..
the CEL rings up at misfires.. but what used to be a bad misfire, now seems very little.
honestly I don't notice my MPGs at all, I put in roughly the same amount of gas every week. The car stock comes with bad mpgs as it is (lol)..
But I did take care of the car, I seafoamed the car in the summer, maybe that caused a few leaks?...
