Jeff,

When you open up the OEM housing, you risk moisture issues. Sure, projector beams allow more light output than a reflector or D2R bulb, but it may not be worth the headache.

I have sealed headlight housings successful before, but it is not always full proof. Aiming the projectors is a pain as well with a conversion. I would save the money and leave your D2R HID set-up.

I used silica gel in my 2gen headlights to help rid moisture. Good headlights should not need a permanent pack of silica. Most of the time, once massive amounts of water is absorbed in the silica, it becomes useless.

that part I know. its the actual fitting of the projectors, etc and the steps after that.
Ive watched tutorials written up by Izntrbl or whatever on youtube, its very thorough no doubt, but id honestly rather have someone here local help me out with it.

What projectors into what car? Is it going to be a reflector housing retrofit or are there halogen projectors already?
