I already posted this on the 2IS general forum, but I wanted to repost here to say hello to the Chicago crew. I bought my SGM IS350 on April 21, 2007 and told myself that I was going to keep it stock for 1 year.

On April 22, 2008 I scheduled an appointment for tints.
30% all around by Ceasar in Logan Square:





Then I got a pair of Nokya 2500K bulbs from my boy's shop in Schaumburg:





Next I installed redouts and yellow overlay for the fogs and painted the grill:








Tonight I swapped out the stock 4300K bulbs for 6000K HID bulbs that I also got from my boy's shop (in Schaum-vegas). They look spectacular:





I can't seem to stop modding. I have a set of sport pedals yet to be installed and I just ordered a set of Eibach Pro-Kits and carbon fiber interior trim from iLL Garage (my boy's shop)!!! Please let me know what you guys think of my mods so far. Any comments would be appreciated. I hope to come to the next Chicago meet to see our city's finest ISes.

 

So how many 2ISes do we have now? Myself, IceZ, Passnu2 (temporary), oblivionis, Dre, dkaplan, guy with red 2is, clark kent. Who am I missing?

 

There's gotta be more than 8? Passnu2 is getting a new car?

 

You should contact Passnu2 and he has a set of CF interior overlays in mint condition. he will sell you them cheaper than new.

Yes if you want the CF overlays I have them. Nice mods now they will never end. Tint looks perfect!

Yes I am parting ways with my car. Still trying to work something out. No one wants to deal on my car with this market. I may sell my car to my step-brother and just get a Civic or Accord?? as the DD and get a toy down the road. I have too much going on now and a vacant property that is sucking me dry in this dam market! ugh!!!

Sorry to hear that you're getting ride of the IS. I hope I get to see it at a local meet before you sell her. Are you a real estate agent? I actually work for @properties here in the city. Have you thought about renting out your vacant property? Since it's getting harder and harder to get a loan, the rental market is blowing up! Might be able to slow or completely stop the bleeding for a while.
