LIDAR guns have been aorund for many years, but local departments have not used them as much due to cost. State Police love these units as they focus primarily on traffic and vehicle code offenses on state highways and other arteries as they have unclaimed jusirsdiction. LIDAR guns are dead on and I remember how Wisconsin troopers love to hide behind trees with these guns and radio down the road.

 

AS far as the photo radar what about the deflected plat sheilds

 

I've actually been hit by a lidar gun once before. I asked the officer what he used to catch me, and he said it was a Lidar, the note on the ticket said lidar as well.

 

well im not sure if any jammers is legal. i believe it is like that if you are jamming any frequency of a signal would be considered illegal. i did happen to think about getting a highend jammer. but i was also thinking about tinting my headlights or blacken them out which makes it harder for the cops to get you. or i was thinking about getting the veil deflector paint for the headlights which they say that it would deflect the signal by 50%.

Chicago has thicken the law on alot of stuff now, such as a tint ticket which i heard rumored that it would hike up to 250 dollars. and with that new law about tint, that in such you have a prescription you have to bring it to the dmv to get a special plate; which the letter on the plate is black and not red. i believe the city is trying to get more money for the olympics in 2014. which is the probable tax hike.

or probably my way of jamming a signal is build a array of leds. i have the idea in my head. a high powered mirt. LOL or a super high pulsated led's

 

I was in Lake In The Hills yesterday sitting in a turn lane for a light on Randall Rd. that has one of those red light cameras installed. Once the light turned yellow, there were about 4 cars that went through, my radar detector responded instantaneously with "Pro Laser" 4 times, and once the light was red and there were no cars going through it, the radar detector was silent... I'm not sure if it takes a picture of people running red lights or speeders? Maybe both...then they get two tickets in the mail...
