Thinking....
Time to pass on the reigns and look for a new project; I have babied since I bought it back in 2005 from Bredeman Lexus in Glenview. One previous owner, all records maintained. Never been in an accident; clean title. I have all the original stock equipment for the vehicle that was done prior to customization that can be reinstalled if chosen to do so. The vehicle has also been consistently detailed with Zaino, Meguires, and Zymol products among others. It has been in several shows and has won several trophies/awards. I would rather sell the vehicle “as-is” than part it out. There are NO dents or imperfections on the vehicle.
Well here it goes….
Starting from the front and moving back:
• Greddy front lip
• Clear-bra under front lip spoiler
• Custom full chrome sport grill
• Driving accents lights converted to PIAA LED Super-whites to match HID
• Clear side-markers with PIAA Led Super-white bulbs
• Brembo front slotted rotors
• Axxis Pads
• Custom Painted Engine cover to match body (1CO Paint Color)
• Polished VVTI Covers
• Rod Millen Front Strut Bar (very rare)
• Daizen Polyurethane Steering Arm Bushings.
• Custom Swift Racing Technology Intake with Piggyback ECU
• Custom Heat Shield
• Navigation updated to 2004 version
• Custom ambient lights
• PIAA interior lights
• Custom ambient light
• L-sportline roof spoiler
• 19’’ L-sportline M4 3-piece staggered chrome wheels
• Toyo Proxes T1-S Rubber (275 in rear 245 in front)
• Two extra brand new 275 Toyo Proxes T1-S
• Black calipers with embossed “Lexus”
• Custom System - JL 12’’ Custom sub enclosure with JL amp
• Cusco rear strut bar fully hidden
• L-sportline springs
• Blitz-Nur Spec Exhaust (Very mellow sound)
• PIAA Rear License Plate LED Illumination
• 3M tinted taillights (removable tint)
• All windows are tinted to 35%
In addition I have the stock 17’’ sport rims with Dunlop Winter SV tires even though I have not driven the car during the winter months. The vehicle sits in my garage from about November to May. Mobil Full Synthetic Motor Oil and Royal Purple products make up most of the fluids in the car. Both front headlights were replaced under warranty due to a typical condensation problem that occurs on the GS’s. This vehicle has been adult driven by one driver; NEVER abused.

if you wanna get a new project, why go fwd with a TL-S? between a TL-S and an IS250/350, you'll have more fun with an IS. i got to drive an IS250 AWD over a weekend as a loaner car and i enjoyed it a lot. great handling, awesome sound, pretty good trunk space (easily fit my golf clubs in there) and of course, the ladies love lexi.
i also liked the fact that the general controls and whatnot, although were different designs, were pretty much the same layout as the GS. can't go wrong with another lexus.

Oh dude I totally relate, I don't want to get rid of my DSM for the SC but I can't have two cars to build and I hate to sell it after all the time and money invested beside like you say who gonna take care of it like you. I came to the conclusion to hand it down to my little cousin who love DSMs and I can come by and help him out whenever with the car.
Wow, have I been gone that long? Steve...say it isn't so.
I totally understand though. I'm actually going to test drive a 550i in about an hour. I'm just going to give the car to my father. He's always loved it so why not. I can still see her when I want. We'll talk more on sunday.
