Chicago Tint Shop Thread
If you're closer to Schaumburg, Umbra. Highly recommended. They did the 'by law' tint on my RX350. 2 sides with Pinnacle. (might have misspelled it.) Plus they have cheaper ones. You can sit and watch them do it or sit and watch tv. The cost of the top of the line was $100 even.

Need a great tint shop
So now that us IL folks can get our windows tinted I need to find an installer. I am actually from Peoria, IL (central IL) but I get up to Chicago a lot so a Chicago installer would be perfectly fine with me. With this being somewhat of a newer thing in IL I'm worried about finding a quality installer. Does anyone know of a place that does a superior job. Or at least places to stay away from could be just as helpful information.

Window Tint Places in Far West Suburbs (Riggs Brothers Too Much)
Before I start my story, I am aware of a great member on here in Chicago that tints for $150ish. Problem is, I am way too busy to venture to the city for a tint job. I called Riggs Brothers in St. Charles, and the guy went on this big story about how he is so cool that he high fives the mirror in the morning before breakfast. Although I was inspired by his awesomeness, I peed myself when he said it was $395 and he is two weeks backed up. He also said that Mercedes of St. Charles thinks he is the best (Tom Selleck is the best dammit-Magnum P.I. ya'll). When he told me $395, I asked if he could throw in some Hawaiian shirts and a bowl of soup. He said he is 25% cheaper in the winter. So my question is, who likes Hawaiian shirts?
