I really love Munroe's teardowns and analysis. I'll have to watch this evening as I'm at work right now pretending to work

since it's munro i expect it to be negative to anything not tesla, lol.
did they do a similar extreme scrutiny of a model 3 or Y interior?

This is an Audi thread not Tesla. Post a Tesla one if you like.

They were very positive when they did teardowns of the Lightning, Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, Polestar 2 and the Rivian truck

but munro live has ZERO objectivity.
the closest thing i could find to a similar video on a tesla was this one, where sandy drools over model 3 interior design which is pretty hilarious.
audi cost reduction bad
tesla cost reduction good

All major automakers pay Munro large sums of money to buy their reports.

I watched both videos, and having ridden in my co-workers E-Tron last year, I totally, one hundred percent agree with Sandy. This is not a vehicle for me, but possibly for someone who is more familiar and comfortable with VW and Audi products

To be fair, the Q4's interior is pretty lackluster given Audi's reputation. It's barely better than the Volkswagen ID4.

There's a reason for it. It is an id4.

Yea doesn't look like anything special. That's why I like older cars. They look nice. Are easier to use. And are made of the same materials still.

That is not a reason. There is absolutely nothing stopping Audi from putting a better interior in it.

Actually there is... keeping the costs down. Until VW/Audi and other manufacturers are able to manufacture EV'S at a similar scale as Tesla and are able to bring their costs down and increase profitability, they have to cut somewhere. Right now batteries are probably the biggest cost. And with 8 year/100k drivetrain warranties, they have to cover the costs of some of these breaking over the next 8 years
