I could never bring myself to buy a car during its first production year. Still problems to be found and worked out with the first couple thousand miles, so I'd wait a year or two. When my mom was car shopping she wanted an E500 but they didn't have navigation when they first came out....seemed kinda ridiculous so we got her into a CLK500.
