this is why the Zonda will always be one of my favorites

7.3 liter V12! when you see it installed in the car everything just looks as it should since the Zonda has such crazy over the top styling and proportions, but then you have to consider the entire car only weighs 2700 lbs! for perspective the mini cooper s from back then (early-mid 00s) weighed almost exactly the same but only has a 1.6 liter engine, so the performance and response of the Zonda is just off the charts

Nice. It'd be a real experience to get to drive a Zonda.

That is so pretty! Look at the craftsmanship of the welds! I remember way long time ago on Top Gear and Hammond gushing over how nicely made the car was. This was before HD so I didn't know what the heck he was talking about until I saw a high res image.

Dam good looking work.

Why all the welded tubing around the engine?
You thinking the engine will twist the cradle without it?

My guess is to hold down all of the monstrous torque.

The tubing is actually the load bearing part of the car, it's very much needed since that is the frame and the car is supposed to be crazy stiff against torsion.

one of my favorite hammond clips! he's one of the funniest/wittiest people around, it's very rare that he can't think of something to say and even he was left speechless by that gloriously demonic V12

the Zonda F is i think the most beautiful iteration... there's really not a thing i'd change on it

You're importing a vintage V-12 1GZ-FE Toyota Century? Very nice!!!

Yep, I'm waiting for a 6 speed car but impatience is getting to me. I may settle for a 4 speed version at this rate!
