No sliding door issues, I did have issues with the doors on the 2017 binding. And, some people have had them fall off!
That reminds me of some late-1950s Fords, where the bodies/frames had so much flex in them that even fully-locked rear doors would pop open on cornering because the lock-latches would twist out of sync. I would say LOL except, of course, that it was not funny.....particularly in the age before seat belts became widespread and there was nothing to hold people in.
This carwash is amazing, its the only carwash I have ever used that I actually feel like I got what I paid for. I don't take the S560 there because it never gets that dirty, but $65 monthly gets you unlimited washes inside and out, and they pull it inside on a conveyor belt and do the interior. For $30 extra they will do the interior super clean where they literally take everything out of it, carseats, etc and steam clean the whole interior, and it comes back looking brand new. For $30 5 people spend like 45 minutes on it inside.
I don't have any pictures of it before, but it was rough, and this is just after they were done:
That is excellent! I 100% would pay for that if we had something like that near me if I got my cars dirty enough managing them becomes hard, thankfully so far it's been easy keeping them near showroom. Still, for $65 a month +30 for a deep clean that's nuts since a single use of services like that around here is at least $120 if not higher, I would totally use this when I have a car to resell/did heavy work on inside so I don't have to slave over it.....I can't help myself and I always end up putting too much effort into them and the customers never really look the cars over that closely anyway.

I’ve never seen paint bubbling in a newer car, that’s crazy that it’s a “thing” with Chrysler. Got any pics of the bubbling?
Yeah its bad. I dont think its bad enough on mine to come out in a picture, but here are some pictures from the internet:

Yeah I used to own a detailing business, honestly I don't see the need to pay for a full interior detail with as good a job they do with this. I take it about once every 2 weeks, so I about break even on the monthly but the monthly gets me the super clean for $30 and I do that every 2 months or so.
So this morning I noticed a big chunk was missing from the tread shoulder of one of the rear tires, so I just ordered new tires for it. It has from the factory crappy Falkens, replacing them with a set of Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3. Want to make sure we don't get stranded in the middle of nowhere headed to the Pocanos with no spare tire...
Mine picked up a nail in the shoulder of one of the crappy factory Nexens at about 1000 miles. With it not being repairable all 4 were replaced with Continentals. Until I can find a factory spare, one of the (unmounted) Nexens goes in the back when venturing out of town.
I think its terrible that these things come with crappy tires like Falkens and Nexens...hell even S Classes come with Hankooks now...
Thats not a bad idea about the unmounted tire, maybe I will have them give me one of them and I'll do that too. Still have to find somebody to mount it though.
I'm interested to see how better tires improve the ride and drive. Both my Pacificas had the same Falken tires.

I'll grant you Hankooks aren't in the same class as Michelins or Continentals, but they aren't that bad a tire.....I've seen lots worse. I had a set of factory installed Goodyear Invictas on my Toyota Celica that drove me nuts with road noise, even wth good wheel alignment....I replaced them at only 14,000 miles. Goodyear wouldn't refund the unused-mileage on the original set, but, as compensation, did give me a nice discount on a set of new Regatta tires that were MUCH quieter, even at the same mileage.

I mean....a $110,000+ S Class deserves a set of top tier name brand tires.

The W223s come with Hankooks yeah. The W222 and older were Michelins, Continentals or Pirellis.
The Pacifica has Falken Ziex CT50s, pretty crappy...they don't even sell them on TireRack. They have 7/32nds of tread left but happy to get rid of them.
