Hey everyone,
I thought I would share this video I made on the new Lexus RZ 450e, I had the chance to sit it whilst it was on display at Goodwood FoS.
I can say the inside cabin is very spacious, I also quite like the colour. I didn't see any glove box, I have been told 'radiators' can be optioned in front knee area.
I have heard various things with regards to pricing, from 55k to over 80k.

I like the styling but hate the 2 tone paint job.

 

It's too bad Lexus decided to go with the trick electrochromic roof instead of a regular opening pano-roof. That's pretty much a deal breaker for me since I like to drive with the roof vented, or fully open. Otherwise I would have put my name down for one by now.

Guess my search for an EV replacement for my RX continues...

 

Not a fan. Interior is more Toyota than Lexus. Gonna be EXPENSIVE!!! Disappointed in the direction Lexus is going RX is likely a better buy

 

The conservative Lion battery pack size is a joke, however news says that TMC is a world leader by a long long way in solid state battery technology.
TMC has many times more patents than its next nearest competitor.
Panasonic in 2nd spot, Idemitsu Kosan in 3rd spot, and Samsung in 4th spot.
TMC will be first to market solid state batteries.
Can't wait to see Lexus RZ with solid state battery pack.
The Lion powered RZ with short range is a joke.

Patents are not products they are worthless until or if the concepts can be commercialized.
