Tesla prices increased across its entire model range
That said, material costs continue to go up, some substantially.
The answer probably lies somewhere in the middle.
Don't get me wrong; a for-profit company's responsibilities are to the shareholders, not you or me as consumers. Prices will rise as long as demand holds; that's business.
My plans to buy another Tesla are off the table for the forseeable future.
Tesla's lofty margins are in Porsche territory; they can afford to absorb some of the paterial cost increases.

I had to buy TPO roofing sheets for my parents place. I about flipped the table.......like why? It should be $150 for the 12 inch sealing tape not $490
Those are huge increases. Other manufacturers have only bumped things up a few hundred to a thousand. So if it's truly a materials thing, everyone else should be raising prices thousands of dollars. I think Musk is taking advantage of a situation.

Tesla has been making frequent "just because" price adjustments for years, so that in itself is nothing new. You can bet that the rest of the industry, who generally adjust pricing just once a year upon a model year transition, will be doing just that and increasing MSRP as their model years change over.

But hey, I guess the Plaids are immune to material increases and inflation, right?!
