My only other guess is a Mazda GLC, but I'd have to Google it to be sure. Again, I'm certain it's a Mazda, but the particular model is a challenge for me.

Bingo. Early/Mid-1980s Mazda GLC. In fact, I owned one.

OK, this is kind of an important one. Our neighborhood has had some vehicle break ins and had a car stolen. Anyone recognize this white car in the street (not the black car in driveway) by the wheels? This is security cam footage of someone checking for unlocked cars and they're being driven in the white car. I can't tell what it its. Appreciate any help.

Definitely familiar but I can't quite place it. The wheels look like BMW X2 variety, but there's not enough black cladding for that to be an X2.

Nissan or Mitsubishi?

Yeah, you just triggered why I thought the wheels looked familiar. We owned an old Z4 way back, and the shape of the wheels and the holes is very reminiscent of that car. I knew there was something with those I recognized but I couldn't place it. I wonder if it is a BMW of some sort. It definitely looks like a small SUV/crossover to me.

could definitely be an X2:

Or an X1:

If so, they likely aren't so much looking for unlocked doors as gathering VINs from BMWs in the neighborhood. In the NY/NJ area there have been a rash of thefts where the bad guys got a new key programmed and then went back and just took the car. Wouldn't surprise me if that's happening in FL also, as there are plenty of ports there too.

The black cladding in the suspect car doesn't match either variety of the X2 - standard or MSport. So I don't think the car is an X2.

Apparently the license plate was captured on video so the case is in motion. I'll find out what kind of car it was and report back!

.....providing it was not a stolen license plate. If these low-lifes would steal a car, they would just as easily steal plates.

I myself have had plates stolen before.....on my Buick Verano.

100% agree, a lot of these thieves use stolen license plates.

it's definitely an x2 and not an x1 and it can have the black wheel arch cladding.

I feel sorry for anyone trying to pull that shadyness around here.

Our fellow CL members have forensic level car knowledge and can identify a car from a headlight or mud flap.

They messed around in the wrong neighborhood! Haha

Yes, it’s definitely an X2. Only the X2 has the BMW roundel on the C pillar.

I agree it's likely an X2, but in the picture we're working from, you can't even see the top of the wheel opening in the fender, let alone all the way up to the C pillar.
