Not sure what you want from the man lol.
I want him to concentrate a little more on building quality into their products and less on public stunts. In the scheme of Tesla sales I know I don't really matter, but as much as I love Tesla's and want to buy one, quality and his I know what's best for you approach has kept me from becoming a customer. And there are thousands like me who are on the fence but quality is barrier. Eventually I'll probably buy one, but until then they don't have me as a customer when they could have much earlier

Depends, if the bolt threads in the block side are not too large/well supported you are actually better off running a TTY type bolt not a stud since the loading will be more even and less stress into the block.

There are a LOT of cars that can hang with the plaid for way less effort than a 4th gen supra, any V8 car really, can do it if you are using a car that has good support like the US brands. 1000chp is very common and many combos are around now in drop in packages for the Camaro/vette/dodge cars and crowd seeking missile.

No that's the standard 60-120 test run, simulates you exerting dominance over something on the interstate. My Audi does it in 7.8 with 60-70 degree weather and about 7.9-8.0 over that due to intercooler strain. Faster cars do the 100-150 bracket, once you ride in something that 100-150s in under 5 seconds it totally changes what you think fast means.....this is also why no matter how many times I drive a tesla they just feel like they drop off over 80-90 because they just hit a wall when other cars don't till around 150.

That's what the Plaid does so not all EVs. I want to try a Plaid.

He probably called him that because it was a Crypto that was created as a joke. By promoting it, the price shot up and Elon probably made a fortune while people following him sunk money in it (I know lots who did) lost big after it crashed
That's very misleading. Yeah, it started as a joke almost 10 years ago, and worth fractions of a penny at the time. By 2018, it had a market cap of around $2 billion. Musk and many others didn't get involved until later, and did nothing wrong or unethical. He played the very volatile crypto market, just like many did.

Palmer is probably just butthurt because he left the crypto market in 2015 and didn't make anything from DOGE. Many reports on the web have his net worth at $1 million. lol

The Plaid does 60-130 and 100-150 in a little over 4.7 seconds which is pretty fast. Any modified car can be made faster no doubt, especially modded GTRs and Huracans but for a stock car that you can hammer on all day without worrying about breaking anything, what Tesla did is impressive even if one hates Teslas.

Can you start a thread and post these tuned cars? I'm interested but don't feel like reading about them in every other thread.

The Plaid models actually do better in the top end because they lose too much traction in the first 70mph. Take a look at how good this top end is...they pull on the top end, a Porsche Turbo in a Model X Plaid with 6 people in it .

The issue is the unprofessional and irresponsible way Elon goes about expressing those feelings. When he wrote that letter he knew it would be public...hell he probably leaked it.

I agree. Those who are offended over how Musk expresses himself need to get thicker skin. It's nice to have someone like that for a change. At least he's not a fake and doesn't pretend to be one.

Agreed. And if you don't like a person don't read about them don't read their tweets. Problem solved.

To forgive Elon for being an ***, all I have to do is watch an SUV with 6 full sized adults beat a $200k supercar. Elon is forgiven
